Yoga Nidra, or 'yogic sleep' is a deeply restorative guided mediation practice that leads practitioners into a state of conscious relaxation, reducing stress, promoting mental clarity, and fostering emotional well-being.
HISTORY & PHILOSOPHY:
Learn the history of the Nidra practice, and the ancient yogic philosophy at its backbone.
SCIENCE & PHYSIOLOGY:
Understand the science behind the power of a Yoga Nidra practice, why it works in the deeply transformative way that it works.
THE PRACTICE OF YOGA NIDRA:
Explore every individual stage of the practice and how to effectively guide others through them to access deep relaxation and heightened awareness.
CREATING & FACILITATING YOGA NIDRA SESSIONS:
Develop the skills to craft personalized, effective Yoga Nidra scripts and learn to lead both individual and group sessions.
TECHNIQUES & TOOLS:
Dive into various techniques such as body scanning, breath awareness, visualization, and intention setting to enhance your practice and teaching.
TRAUMA-INFORMED INTEGRATION:
Understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing environment for students, especially those with a history of trauma.

No! This course will teach you how to facilitate the practice of yoga nidra, which is a guided meditation. You do not need to be an active yoga teacher.
A notebook and something to write with, training materials (to be sent in advance of training), comfy clothes, snacks and a water vessel, an open and eager mind! All yoga mats and props will be provided.
