What's the difference between Wheel Class and Table Wheel Class?

The Wheel Class features our classic large pottery wheels — the ones you’ve probably seen or used before. The Table Wheel Class uses smaller, compact unit that sits on a tabletop. It’s a great option if you’re booking for you and a friend!

How does Paint your own pottery work?

Accepted Answer

These are casual, same-day drop-in classes available during the event for $25. Choose from a selection of smaller pottery pieces, paint your heart out, and we’ll glaze and fire it for you—no extra charge. If you’d like to paint a larger item, an additional fee will apply.

What are the Payments, Refunds, and Rescheduling?

Accepted Answer

Payment is required in full at the time of registration to secure your spot in a class. We do not offer refunds. Since this is a one time event, we do not reschedule.

Firing the Clay

Accepted Answer

Clay with Me does not guarantee, explicitly or implicitly, the quality of fired work. While we take every precaution to achieve the best possible firing outcomes, variations in the firing process and clay properties can lead to unexpected results.

Damages

By using our studio facilities, you agree not to hold Clay with Me, its volunteers, or any other person associated with the studio responsible for any damage or defects in your pottery at any stage of the process, including firing.

Safety Precautions

Pottery involves the use of potentially hazardous materials and equipment. Please follow all safety instructions provided by our instructors and staff. Wear appropriate clothing to ensure your safety. Long hair should be tied back, and loose jewelry should be removed.

Studio Rules and Conduct

All participants must follow the instructions and guidance of our instructors and staff at all times. Respect the studio space, equipment, and materials. Any intentional damage or misuse will result in liability for repair or replacement costs. Maintain a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for all.

Photography and Privacy

Clay with Me may photograph or record classes and workshops for promotional purposes. By participating, you grant us permission to use your likeness in such materials.

Question 9

Health, Safety, Liability, and Release

Accepted Answer

Participants understand that working with clay and glazes involves inherent risks. Clay with Me and its staff are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during your time at the studio. Participants agree to release Clay with Me and its staff from any liability.

Code of Conduct

Participants must conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner. Discriminatory, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviors toward staff or fellow participants will not be tolerated.
