Frequently asked questions

I've never done yoga before, will these sessions be suitable for me?

These sessions are aimed at yogic practitioners who have some general experience, as the poses (Asanas) are held for long periods of time.

Can this kind of yoga really help in my spiritual journey?

Kundalini Tantra Yoga is the traditional Indian practice of the mystics and yogis, who's purpose was to reach moksha (liberation or awakening). Its whole remit is to bring our body, mind and emotions to a place of ease, for oneness.

I've heard Kundalini Yoga is all about manic energy and breathwork. Is that what this is about?

No. There is a difference between what in the West has become know as Kundalini Yoga, and traditional Indian Kundalini Tantra Yoga. While Prana Kriya (energetic breathwork for purification) is important, it forms only one part of Kundalini Tantra Yoga, which is much slower and meditative.
