Invest for Better: Bay Area Women's Investing Dinner
Join us for the second gathering of women in the Bay Area who are passionate about aligning their money with their values. This time, we’re thrilled to welcome Bulbul Gupta, President & CEO of Pacific Community Ventures (PCV )—one of the nation's first impact investing funds, born right here in the Bay Area. PCV provides capital to small businesses, many of which are in the Bay Area. Bulbul will explain how PCV finds, vets, and invests via debt. Hopefully, she will be joined by one or two of the inspiring women entrepreneurs PCV has supported. After BulBul’s presentation, we will have an opportunity to reflect together on what we heard and the next steps we might want to take toward investing locally through debt
This evening will kick off a series of gatherings—some in Oakland, some in San Francisco—focused on demystifying private debt and introducing local lending opportunities for those looking to invest with impact.
