About this event

How to transfer 1 cup to 100 cups in the ceramic studio? How can we handmade a series of products which shares the same basic shape? Why there are so many plaster moulds in your studio, or what is the mould anyway?

Slip casting is a technique to use clay in its liquid form. I am using slip casting to deliver high-quality pieces with 90% of my design. In this workshop, we will use slip casting as our primary technique to make 2 pieces of porcelain tablewares. By play with the coloured clay slip, and other surface treatment techniques, we could create identical but also uniformed products for daily home use.
