About this event
- Event lasts 2 hours 15 minutes
Since the dawn of time, humans have gathered in circle—drumming, singing, praying. It’s more than tradition—it’s remembrance. It’s in our blood. It’s in our bones. It’s who we are.
Each of us carries a drum in our chest: our heartbeat.
In the womb, we were cradled by our mother’s pulse.
The drum reconnects us to the heartbeat of the Earth Herself.
When we drum together, our hearts synchronize.
When we sing together, our spirits dance and remember the ancient language of connection.
🔥 Sacred Fire Ceremony 🔥
Weather permitting, we’ll gather beneath the stars in our courtyard sanctuary.
The fire ceremony is a sacred invitation—to slow down, to listen, to let go.
Across traditions, fire is known as a living being… an alchemist… a messenger. It transforms, purifies, and carries our prayers skyward.
Together, we’ll offer our songs, intentions, and symbolic offerings to the flames—releasing what’s heavy, what’s outdated, what’s ready to be composted into wisdom.
We'll pray, sing, and bear witness as the fire illuminates our inner truth and rekindles our soul’s spark.
Bring something small and meaningful to offer to the fire—a twig, a note, a breath of gratitude, a whispered prayer.
🎶 The Songs We Carry
This is a circle of soul—not performance.
I hold a warm, playful, and sacred space to share the songs that have found me over the years—songs of blessing and remembrance from around the world. From the forests of the Amazon to the mountains of Zimbabwe, from Lakota prayer songs to Sanskrit mantras, these melodies are ancient threads that weave us back into wholeness.
They honor the Earth, the Cosmos, our plant and animal kin, and our own radiant spirits.
And these songs come alive when we sing them together
💗 No Experience Needed—Just Heart.
This circle isn’t about being “good” at singing or drumming. It’s about feeling, freeing, and remembering. It’s about the joy of expression, the beauty of togetherness, and the deep nourishment of being seen, heard, and felt.
You will not be asked to sing alone. We rise together. We sing as one..
🌀 What to Bring:
I have extra hoop drums and rattles so everyone gets a chance to play the drum. If you have your own drum, please bring it with you!
- A cozy layer (evening chill has a sneaky way of showing up!)
- A lawn/camping chair (we have a few, but not enough for everyone)
- A drum or rattle if you have one—extras are available
- An open heart and a willingness to connect
- A small offering for the fire (optional but beautiful)
Please note: This is not a djembe-style drum circle. This is a medicine drum circle—hoop/frame drums, rattles, and soft-hearted rhythm.
All drums are welcome. All voices are welcome. All of you is welcome.
Weather Permitting: we will be sitting outside around a fire and will be including a fire ceremony. In case it rains, we will be indoors.
