Diabetes Prevention & Wellness Fair in Mississauga

Welcome to our Diabetes Prevention & Wellness Fair! Join us for a day full of free diabetes testing, connections to a family doctor, community programs and resources, education and awareness about diabetes prevention, activities for all ages, and the opportunity to meet local community groups promoting wellness. Bring your friends and family and take charge of your well-being! We look forward to seeing you there!

While walk-ins are welcome, we encourage you to register to help us plan ahead and ensure we have enough diabetes testing materials, resources, and activities for everyone.

Who can attend the event?

The event is open to individuals of all ages and backgrounds — families, seniors, and youth are all welcome!

What kind of screening will be provided?

Free type 2 diabetes risk assessment and on-site point-of-care testing will be available for adults aged 20 and above, along with educational resources, referrals to diabetes education programs, community support programs, and a family doctor (for those who do not have a family doctor).

Will there be anything for kids?

Yes! We’ll have dedicated children’s activity areas with crafts, games, and wellness-themed fun.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes. The Living Arts Centre is wheelchair accessible and has accessible restrooms.

Is this event free to attend?

Yes! This is a completely free event open to all community members.

Yes, there is free parking at the venue.
