About this event

Buscabulla – A Puerto Rican Phrase Meaning "Troublemaker"

Buscabulla is an experimental Puerto Rican duo, Raquel Berrios and Luis Alfredo Del Valle, known for crafting a genre-defying sound. Blending elements of salsa, reggaeton, bachata, indie dance pop, funk, and electronic music with signature Boricua beats, their music is a vibrant and dynamic fusion unlike any other.

And this summer, they're bringing their electrifying energy to Quartyard on Sat July 5!

This husband-and-wife duo were based in New York but found their way back to Puerto Rico following the devastation of Hurricanes Maria and Irma in 2017. As thousands of Puerto Ricans fled the ravaged island for the States, Berrios and Del Valle headed in the opposite direction to help support their island's redevelopment. Their emotional return home deeply inspired Regresa.

Buscabulla's NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert was performed in a van on the beach in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. For that 13 minutes, it provided a getaway from the outside world. See their perforance below.
