Dear Friend, You are invited to join the Minkisi ministry’s open-to-all, 27th Annual Mini-Retreat “Justice, Testimony, and Joy”, on Saturday, November 9, 2024, 9:45 am-1:00 pm ET in Zoom.

Come to a virtual liturgy with scripture readings, homily, silent prayer reflection, and gospel music followed by a table-talk breakout session, handouts, raffle of a Sr. Thea Bowman medallion and other ‘Spirit tools.’

Minkisi is a contemplative prayer, action, and African heritage ministry of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Arlington, VA. In 2024 Minkisi will continue to encourage acts of JUSTICE, TESTIMONY, AND JOY! Our scripture theme this year is: I have the strength for everything through him who empowers me. (Philippians 4:13, NABRE) And we are inspired by our patron Servant of God Sister Thea Bowman who prayed: “Help us to live as your united people, proclaiming with one voice, our faith, our hope, our love, our joy.”
